Karan Tacker began his acting career with television shows such as Love Ne Mila Di Jodi, Rang Badalti Odhani, and Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai. After a brief break, he returned to the screen with the Special Ops franchise, winning hearts as Agent Farooq Ali. More recently, he made his big-screen debut with Tanvi The Great, playing the role of an army officer. On the occasion of Independence Day, Karan spoke exclusively with mid-day, sharing his experience of portraying an army officer and reflecting on what freedom means to him.
When asked about his idea of patriotism, the Tanvi The Great actor answered, “I think being compassionate towards human beings and human lives. I`ve never taken pride in just being from one nation. I`d like to believe that I`m the child of the world. So, I`m as compassionate towards any other nation as much as I`m in love with India myself.”
