Christmas releases always come with excitement, and occasionally a little censorship drama. The upcoming romcom Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, gears up for its Christmas Day theatrical release after facing the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC)’s scissors. According to reports, the film received a U/A 16+ certificate after “three cuts”, which include removing a “sexually suggestive” scene, muting and deleting “obscene dialogue” from subtitles, and trimming portions of the second half to eliminate abbreviated obscene expressions. After all the tweaking, the final runtime now stands at 145 minutes and 41 seconds. Certified drama, coming soon!
