An FIR has been reportedly filed against actor Ranveer Singh for mimicking the Daiva scene from Rishab Shetty`s Kantara Chapter 1. The incident took place at IFFI Goa on November 28, following which Ranveer had also issued an apology

Actor Ranveer Singh, who is currently riding the success of Dhurandhar, has found himself in legal trouble amid the success. But it is not related to his recent release, which has grossed over Rs 1,000 crore in just three weeks to become the highest-grossing Hindi film in India. An FIR was reportedly filed against the actor for mimicking a scene from Kantara Chapter 1.
Ranveer Singh was seen mimicking the iconic Chaundi sequence, a sacred part of the procession dedicated to Goddess Chavundi, in front of the film`s lead actor, Rishab Shetty at the closing ceremony of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa on November 28th. After videos of the same went viral on the internet and he faced massive backlash.
