Director Aditya Suhas Jambhale’s political thriller `Article 370` is grabbing a lot of headlines; some are lauding it, while others are calling it out for promoting a certain ideology. Now, in a conversation with mid-day.com, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, who plays the role of Yash Chauhan, an army officer, talked about his character, the idea behind the film, the criticism it is receiving, and much more.
Vaibhav, while talking about how he got the part, shared, “So, I was called for a meeting by two Adityas. The director had seen a few of my plays, and he told me that he had liked my work since then, but we never met after that. So, Director Aditya suggested my name, and after the meeting and the narration, I was totally mesmerized by the vision of the director. Because encapsulating the whole episode is a really challenging thing, and the way he had written the script and the way he had envisioned it, I was amazed by the clarity. After that, it was a no-brainer for me to say yes. Also, Aditya Dabble has two national awards to his name, which is quite an interesting resume for me to say yes.”
