Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar 2 was passed with 21 cuts by the CBFC ahead of its release. As per the modifications, the film was granted an A certificate and cuss words were muted. However, actor Deepak Tijori has questioned the logic behind muting cuss words. Reacting to the film’s censorship, he criticised the inconsistency in partially muting abuses despite its adult certification, also highlighting the contrast between theatrical cuts and unfiltered OTT versions.

Taking to Instagram, Tijori questioned the logic behind partially muting abusive words in theatrical versions. He expressed, “Maybe I just don’t have the kind of intellect that the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) or its board members possess, because I genuinely don’t understand this – why mute half the abuses and let the other half stay? At places, keep some and fully mute others?”
