Kapoor’s shot to stardom happened with ‘Woh Saat Din’ in 1983 and he nearly dominated the marquee with one blockbuster after another in the impressive follow ups like ‘Meri Jung’, ‘Karma’, ‘Mr. India’, ‘Tezaab’, ‘Ram Lakhan’, ‘Parinda’, ‘Eeshwar’, and ‘Beta’, to name a few.
In the next coming years, he has two massive films bankrolled by Dharma Productions and one of them will be helmed by the scion himself, Karan Johar. The film in question is the historical opus ‘Takht’. This giant of a saga also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, and Janhvi Kapoor.
The other film is Raj Mehta’s ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ co-starring Neetu Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, and Prajakta Kohli. The third film he has in the pipeline is Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’, which boasts off actors like Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Parineeti Chopra.
Kapoor was last seen in ‘AK vs AK’, which directly streamed on Netflix. It was the story of Anurag Kashyap kidnapping Kapoor’s daughter Sonam Kapoor Ahuja when the actor rubs him the wrong way. It was a thriller about revenge and despair that ended with a debatable but devious and delicious twist.
