What&rsquo;s interesting then is that at a time such as this, celebs are using social media as their mouthpiece. A recent instance is when Soha Ali Khan tweeted earlier this week that her actor beau, Kunal Khemu had proposed to her and that she had said yes. The two actors have been living in for a while now and Kunal is said to have popped the question when the couple was on a holiday in Paris. &ldquo;It gives me great happiness to share with you all that Kunal proposed to me in Paris with the most perfect ring in the world and I said yes,&rdquo; read her tweet. The couple also thanked their friends, fans and followers for their best wishes.
Clearly, social media has brought about a revolution in the country. These days, many celebrities use this platform to make important announcements. They no longer need to rely just on mainstream media to spread the word for them; instead, social media is now their go-to platform.
