Arijit Singh, one of the most celebrated voices in Indian music today, once revealed that his now-iconic singing style was not always welcomed. In a candid conversation about his early years, the singer spoke honestly about how audiences initially rejected his natural voice, forcing him to consciously reshape it over time.
Opening up about his journey, Arijit admitted that the voice listeners associate with him today is the result of intense effort and deliberate transformation. He said, “Maine toh apne voice ko toda hai, mera voice thodi aisa tha pehle. Mera voice alag hi tha.” The singer explained that his original voice sounded very different and lacked the texture that later became his signature.
