Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan returns as the host of the latest season of 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' and the shows vows to have new twists and turns
Amitabh Bachchan said, "Not just the lives of the participants, but my own life has also been changed because of the show. We have made conscious efforts in trying to make people's dreams come true. I remember the first time the show was offered to me. I was in London. I decided to visit the sets of the original 'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire', and told Siddharth Basu that I would like to be a part of the show, if you are planning to make an exact replica of the original."
He further added, "It was on the sets of the first season of 'KBC' when I experienced sharp pains in my side and was later diagnosed with tuberculosis."
The new season will feature only 30-35 episodes and will feature celebrities as well as real life heroes. The show's format has undergone a change as well. Lifelines now include video a friend and the participant can bring a relative with them to help them with the answers.
