Vidya Balan wants to leave no stone unturned to get into the skin of her character as a radio jockey in Suresh Triveni's 'Tumhari Sulu'. The powerhouse performer has refrained from using a mobile phone on set.

This move is to ensure Vids stays focussed and gives her best shot. Unit hands reveal the actress switches off her phone as soon as she arrives since she doesn't want any sort of distraction during work hours.

Constant text message alerts and the occasional ring of her phone annoy her to no end when she is in character mode. Besides, being an RJ requires voice modulation and therefore, it's crucial that she stays focussed, say unit sources.
