When we were in Chennai, I participated in a number of inter-zonal swimming competitions. However, I wasn't very competitive and participated only because it was good fun. I simply enjoyed it.u00a0u00a0u00a0 2. Swimming for fitnessu00a0 Swimming is the most complete physical exercise. Unfortunately, there aren't any good sports clubs near my place. Most of them are far away, and even there I don't feel comfortable as people tend to keep staring. I swim to my heart's content only when I am holidaying abroad. 3. Beach holidays Mauritius, Krabi (Thailand) and Gold Coast, Australia are my favourite beach destinations. Scuba diving and kite-surfing give me a high. I loved diving in the Andaman. The island has superb marine life and some great diving spots. 4. Outdoor person I recently went white water rafting on the Zanskar river in Ladakh, where the waters were freezing cold. I am planning to do it next in Hrishikesh on the Tons River, which has warmer waters. I absolutely love the outdoors and the sense of adventure associated with it.
