The surprise casting in Salman Khan's 'Kick'

Says Archana, “Yes, I am playing the role of Salman’s mother in the film. Mithun plays my husband and the role is as hilarious as it sounds. It’s the first time that I am playing the role of a proper mother to a lead actor. I am absolutely nuts about Salman and I adore him. He is a cute co-star.”

Seems like the actress and the director-producer go back a long way. “Sajid is my bhidu (friend) from the last 20 years. I worked in the first movie he produced, Zulm ki Hukumat, and now I am acting in his directorial debut too,” she adds.
