Telly actor Shabbir Ahluwalia is one of the producers of 'Zanjeer'

After having starred in two of director Apoorva Lakhia's films, television actor Shabbir Ahluwalia is one of the producers behind his next project

This marks the actor’s first film as producer and it was he who brought Lakhia on board for this film. The actor hopes to balance both sides of his career.u00a0

Says a source, “Shabbir has acted in Shootout At Lokhandwala and Mission Istanbul. Their friendship goes a long way.”

Stating that making Zanjeer 2.0 has been a huge learning experience, Shabbir adds, “Since this film is my first as producer, I thought what better than to get Apoorva as director. Getting the project together has been a wonderful experience.”
