Suite surprise for Kamal Haasan in Goa

Kamal Haasan, who is in Goa to attend the on-going International Film Festival of India (IFFI), had the organisers on their toes with his demands. The veteran actor and filmmaker apparently refused to enter his room in the five-star hotel where he was put up. Reason? It did not match up to his requirements.

Says a source from the festival, “The moment Kamal Haasan was taken to the room, he threw a fit. He did not even bother to see how it was. He appeared to be irked and told the organisers that he had clearly told them to book a suite for him.”

Adds the source, “Though he had put in a request for a suite, there was some confusion on the booking front. Even though the best room had been kept ready for him in the hotel, he was not pleased.”

The organising team swung into action and pacified the star. He was later shifted into a suite according to his demand.

Kamal Haasan remained unavailable for comment.u00a0
