After a lot of speculation and deliberation, Shahid Kapoor will finally work with Prabhu Dheva

Shahid finally signs Prabhu Dheva's next action film

Our source says, “Prabhu Dheva has been keen that he signs Shahid for the film. He has seen his intense portrayal in Vishal Bharadwaj’s film. He will however give him the mass entertaining image.

Shahid was keen to also see the feedback that he receives as Javed in the 1910 period of his upcoming film with Kunal Kohli as that is a character appealing to the masses. To top it all, both Sasha and Prabhu bonded big time at a recently concluded award ceremony making it easier for Shahid to sign the film.”

The source adds, “Prabhu Devaa is one of the most sought after directors and is known for his action films. Shahid has never done hardcore raw action before and it will be interesting to see him in an out and out action drama.” Shahid Kapoor confirmed the news and said, “Yes, I am working with Prabhu Dheva and it is a full on masala film.”u00a0
