"If I can achieve even one-third of what my father RN Singh (president of the Uttar Bhartiya Sangh) has done, I will consider myself to be a successful man," he says. Santosh talks about his burgeoning security business and other passions:

In his dad's footsteps

When my dad, RN Singh started this company, he provided employment to 32,000 people. My mission is to provide employment to more than one lakh individuals in the country. Today, Bombay Intelligence Security has more than 40 branches across India with clients like Coca Cola, Patni, ONGC, General Motors, ICICI, HDFC, etc. Our main area of expertise is industrial security, which is much sought after by the new MNCs entering India. Given that a single business park can employ more than 300 guards; this industry is going to be one of the biggest drivers of employment in the country.u00a0

Socially beneficial
The security business is providing a lot of employment to people who are semi-educated or semi-skilled. It is a great boon for the economy. Any person with basic education, physical fitness and a crime-free background can find employment in this industry. Bombay Intelligence Security has training centres in Uttar Pradesh, Karjat, Chennai and Gujarat, where retired army personnel provide training to the guards. Considering the rate of growth, it's not far before I fulfill my dad's responsibility.

Taking time out
I played cricket for Ranji Trophy, and love watching the sport in my free time. Every year, I head to the UK in May-June to play club cricket. My favourite cricketers are Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Suresh Raina and Steve Waugh. I am also fond of travelling. My dad and I head off to the Ananda Spa in Rishikesh quite often for some relaxation and rejuvenation. Otherwise, I love to play with my five-year-old nephew who is my best buddy (laughs).u00a0

Love for hot wheels
Besides cricket, I have a passion for automobiles. While I have the Mercedes' and BMWs in my garage, I hope to buy a Rolls-Royce and a Maserati one day. On my days off, I like to take my wife and son out for long drives. Driving is a huge stress-buster.
