Priyanka Chopra has been signed on as UNICEF's National Ambassador for promoting child rights and adolescence.

Priyanka Chopra has been signed on as UNICEF's National Ambassador for promoting child rights and adolescence.



Says PC, "I hope that by lending my voice, I can make a difference to the lives of India's young."



The actress started her collaboration with the United Nation's Children's Fund in 2008 and has recorded a series of public service announcements championing girls' education.

Other than Priyanka, Amitabh Bachchan and Sharmila Tagore support UNICEF's work for children.
