But what she’s most thrilled about now is the invitation to be the guest of honour at Kadamba as part of the ongoing Navy Week celebrations. Kadamba is an Indian navy base located near Karwar in Karnataka and is the country’s third operational naval base, after Mumbai and Visakhapatnam.

Says a source, “On Thursday, Neha returned from Bali after a short vacation. She made sure that she returned in time to travel to Kadamba to attend the Navy Day celebrations this weekend. She feels it is an honour for her to be present there.”

Adds the source, “During her younger day she used to attend such events along with her family and watch the chief guests doing the honours. Now she will be the centre of attraction, so it is a big high for her to be present at such an event.” Incidentally, Neha had also visited Kargil and spent some time at the army camp as part of the Kargil Day celebrations in July.u00a0
