Incidentally, Neetu will become the first Indian actress to be the proud possessor of the title.

The actress says, “I should say that in a family of doctors and engineer, I am the only one who mixed sports with studies. If I had only studied like the others, I would have missed out on these awards. I still recall my first brush with fame was when I was being written about for my achievements in sports when I was still in school.”

Neetu, who had once hoped to take part in the Olympics, says it was her mother who encouraged her to pursue her interest in sports. The actress also does Kathak to keep fit. She has also won many district and state level awards in sports. Neetu now wants to do a hard-core action film. Amen to that.u00a0
