Mukul Deora has started a distribution company named Watch Tower Entertainment that will bring big and small Hollywood movies to India, along with manager Sunny Khanna. His first venture as a producer is the Bheja Fry sequel releasing next year.
Khanna reveals, "We have set up a company that will distribute Hollywood films in India. Apart from a select few studios, majority of the big firms don't have distribution networks here.

Films like Hurt Locker had Oscar buzz, but weren't marketed, so they went unnoticed. We want to change the current scenario and bring a variety of films to Indian shores."
He's an investor
He adds that Mukul is an investor in this project, "He will be hands-on in selecting the kind of cinema we choose to distribute. Apart from choosing the films, we will also chalk out marketing plans. There is a need to market Hollywood films just like we make noise about Bollywood projects. Films like Harry Potter get good promotion, but there are a large number of releases which are good but get less attention."
With work underway, their firm plans to shortly announce releases for films in the coming year. "The idea is to release the film the same day it comes out in the US. That way we can tap into the market right from the first day. Mukul and I will be travelling and meeting studio firms in the US in the coming weeks."
