Inspired by Salzburg, a lovely town in the midst of the Alps, Maheka's new line reflects the lyrical poeticism that defines Mozart's hometown.
Maheka's latest collection revamps the classic with a distinctly feminine and urbane touch. Drawing inspiration from the romantic meadows of Salzburg, Maheka's Spring Symphony has flourescent hues of colours like rose, strawberry pink, lime, sunflower yellow, lavender, mango and tangerine, shades of peach, coral, violet, yellow and white.
French chiffon, Japanese and Italian silk, Swiss cotton, Tulle and Benarasi brocade are the fabrics used for this collection.
Fine details are of strategic importance in Spring Symphony. The bling quotient is minimal, and eye-catching wherever it's used. Cording forms the focus of the design element and is used throughout the collection. Thread-work, Swarovski crystals and caviar beads are also used for decoration while brocade adds a hint of opulence.
The collection has lots of flowy loose kurtas as well as long voluminously paneled kurtas from bust-line to almost floor length. Halter kurtas with knotted dupattas, sarees with corded blouses and Lehengas with Swarovski crystals offer a fresh look with a fitted bodice and flared skirts.

"Spring Symphony is a strikingly stylish collection that's sure to make a woman feel brazenly feminine. It is poetry in motion," signs off Maheka.
