Gayatri Devi had been receiving pension from the Bihar government since 1997, but it was suddenly stopped in 2002. She was told her name appeared on a list of fake freedom fighters, even though she has documents to support her claim. After a long fight and dharnas on New Delhi's streets, the Delhi government intervened and moved her to an old age home and granted her a destitute pension. But she plans to continue her battle till the Bihar government agrees to give her pension.
