Most brands are happy to win accolades! So when brand Asmi walked away with three prestigious awards at the recently held India International Jewellery Show 2010,u00a0 it was indeed a proud moment, both for the leading jewellery brand and the Gitanjali Group that owns it.
Asmi, the jewellery brand that echoes and celebrates the spirit of the modern Indian woman, won two trophies at the Retail Jeweller India Awards function for Best 360 Degree Marketing Campaign of the Year and Best TV Campaign of the Year.
The latter was for Asmi's TV commercial featuring Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra. The campaign creatively reflects the brand proposition of 'commemorating a woman's success and inspiring her to achieve higher goals'.
On the other hand, the brand's strategic brilliance was much lauded for its robust marketing campaign that encompasses various media vehicles.
On the design front, Samsara, an exquisitely crafted armbandu00a0-- which depicts the 'wheel of life' by interrelating karma with rebirthu00a0-- received the Critics Award at the RBS Solitaire Design Awards held at the IIJS.
Samsara depicts the four cycles of human life (childhood, youth, adulthood and old age) in four charms shaped in the form of bottles depicting a milk bottle, a soft drink can, an alcohol bottle and a saline bottle.
