Aftab-Aamna miffed with Aloo Chaat director

Aftab Shivdasani and Aamna Shariff are miffed with Aloo Chaat director Robby Grewal. The lovebirds had shot for a promotional video along with British import RDB that will also be used with the end credits. All was well till they realised that there was more of the hip-hop group and less of them.

RDB, best known for the Singh Is Kinng title track, has composed two songs for Aloo Chaat. As the video features their Aa Mil Ke Aish Kare number, Grewal decided to feature them too. Their other track is a Punjabi number, Giddha.

Ignored

Says a source, "At the shoot at Mukesh Mills itself, Aftab and Aamna expressed their displeasure but Robby put his foot down.

When they recently saw the final version after the editing, they felt totally ignored. They voiced their apprehensions to the director. But Robby was very clear about what he wanted. The video has Aftab Aamna get cosy in the rain."

It is learnt that after that day, Aftab became very lukewarm towards Robby. Adds the source, "Though both are trying to be extremely professional as the film is now in post-production, but the thanda vibes are apparent."

RDB (an acronym for Rhythm, Dhol, Bass) are a Punjabi DJu00a0 team consisting of three brothers Kuly, Manjeet and Surjeet Singh who play a blend of Bhangra,u00a0 UK garage, Bollywood, R&B, hip-hop and dance music.

When contacted both Aftab and Robby preferred not to comment.

Aloo Chaat is produced by Anuj Saxena's Maverick Productions along with Robby's Red Ice films and is slated for a February-end release.
