Jewellery designer Poonam Soni recently got some royal treatment, literally! Last week, she had a first-hand experience of mingling with Monaco's royal family when playing guests to Henri Rey, the chief legal advisor to the royal family.

Poonam and her daughter Kriti were flown to Monte Carlo to attend the Rose Ball hosted by Prince Albert. "The ball was organised for Princess Grace's foundation. The drinks venue was De Paris hotel, followed by a nine-course dinner and an after party at the Le Sporting Club. Only the cru00e8me de la cru00e8me of the European world were invited. It was such a grand affair," gushes Poonam.
She goes on to say that she wore a specially woven sari in white and gold with big size champagne diamond earrings with a traditional kanni woven stole in orange, a rust Gaudi bracelet and a collection bag in rust from Bottega Vienetta. "It was such a classy affair with beautifully people sporting the latest fashion in couture and gems. And that's not all. Brands like Louis Vuiton, Chanel, Terry, Dior and Celine gave away gifts to the invitees!" prattles Poonam.
