Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan not only broke box office records, but also marked an important milestone in the actor’s career as she won his first National Award in 30 years. For the award ceremony, the actor reached Delhi along with Rani Mukerji and Vikrant Massey. Just like always, the actor won hearts with his gesture. He was seen called as the King of hearts at the ceremony, after which he blew kisses, expressing excitement.
During his introductory speech, Jaju gave high regard to Shah Rukh Khan and stated, “And history is made, Shri Shah Rukh Khan ji. The man whose smile has crossed borders, whose dialogues have become our collective vocabulary, received his first National Award. His journey from Delhi theatre to global stardom is a story in itself. ‘Main kaun hu main kya hu (Who am I? What am I?),’ he asked in Jawan. Tonight, the answer is simple. He is not just the National Award winner but he is forever the king of hearts.”
