While investors and traders are seeking clarity over the stock market holiday for Holi this year, many of them are wondering whether the Indian stock market will be shut on Tuesday or Wednesday.
According to the official holiday calendar issued by the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), both exchanges will remain closed on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. As per the official statements, the exchanges will be closed on account of Holi. Therefore, trading across equity, equity derivatives, currency derivatives, and securities lending and borrowing (SLB) segments will also remain closed for the day.
