The Indian men's team were leading the Chinese by 27 International Match Points (IMPs) at the half-way stage of the 96-board, six-segment long semi-finals on Tuesday.
The lead would have been a lot more had the Indians not faltered by conceding 800 points on two boards towards the end of the third segment.
