The Rugby Association of Maharashtra will organise the Decc Touch Rugby Tournament for schools kids in the U-12, U-14 and U-17 age categories.u00a0
A total of 50 schools will participate in the tournament scheduled to begin on February 21 at Karnatak Sporting Association ground. The final will be played on February 23 at the Police Gymkhana. Schools from Thane district will also participate in the tournament.
Aga Hussain, Vice-President of Rugby India was delighted with the response the tournament received. "We started out with just eight schools in 2006, but now we have reached 50 schools. As the followers of the game, we want to promote and create as much awareness as we can," said Hussain.
