American snowboarder Brenna Huckaby, who won her first gold medal in the women's LL2 final of the Paralympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea on Monday, has revealed that she listens to Beyonce's hit song Diva when she competes.
"I listen to Diva by Beyonce when I race. It makes me feel super sassy and badass and that translates into my riding. It also helps me focus and slows down the course so I'm able to ride at a more focused level," she told ESPN in a recent interview.

Huckaby, who is the first amputee to ever be featured in the 2018 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, also shared the rest of her Pyeongchang playlist which includes, Gold by Kiiara, Gatekeeper by Jessie Reyez, Bad at Love by Halsey, New Rules by Dua Lipa, Bodak Yellow by American rapper Cardi B and Flawless Remix featuring Nicki Minaj and Beyonce.
Meanwhile, the stunning mother dedicated the gold medal to her daughter Lilah, two. "In the start gate I said to myself, 'For Lilah,' because that is one of the main reasons ⦠and pushing through trying times to show her that she can do anything she wants," she said.
