Anelka, a former Chelsea and France national team star, described Mumbai's 0-7 defeat at the hands FC Goa as the worst in his life. The 7-0 win was the biggest margin in ISL.

"It's the worst defeat in my life and our players don't deserve to wear the Mumbai FC jersey after today's humiliating defeat," Anelka said at the press conference.

"Everything went wrong today and I tried to change the tactics in the second half after being down 0-2 but the boys failed to cope up and gave a lot of space to the rival players to attack from the flanks.

Now, we have to sit and see what went wrong and rectify the mistakes and win the remaining four matches if we are to reach the semi-finals."
