As we gear up for the Indian Premier League 2021 season, today we present to you the top ten leading run-getters in the history of the cash-rich Twenty20 league.
In this list, there are a total of seven Indian cricketers, while the three overseas players in it are Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers and David Warner. MS Dhoni has played the most IPL matches on the list with 204.
While Chris Gayle has the most number of IPL centuries (6), David Warner holds the most number of fifties in this list (48). Chris Gayle also holds the highest individual score (175'), not only in this top 10 list but also in the history of IPL.
Among the top 10 IPL run-scorers, David Warner yet again takes the number one spot in terms of average with 42.71. AB de Villiers has the best strike rate among the top 10 run scorers with 151.91.
