Wayne Rooney's wife Coleen to decide his future at Man United

As Manchester United are believed to be on the verge of offering Rooney a new contract, Paris Saint-Germain are waiting in the wings with a ­40million pounds offer if talks break down.

But wife Coleen, 26, will give birth to their second child this year, and sources close to the family said that she wants Rooney to stay at United for the time being, the Daily Star reports.

It has been an emotional time for her ­recently, with the death of adopted sister Rosie McLoughlin, 14, in January.

She suffered from the rare ­genetic disorder Rett syndrome.

It is ­believed Coleen does not want her stress levels increased by a transfer of her husband to Europe, or even to London, with Tottenham and Chelsea reported to be interested in the England international.u00a0
