Serbian pin-up Ana Ivanovic said today she wants to seek Roger Federer's advice on staying at the top after failing to maintain her position at the summit of women's tennis.
Ivanovic briefly became No 1 last year before a form slump saw her drop to No 5 in the world, while Federer held the men's top ranking for a record 237 weeks before being deposed by Rafael Nadal last August.
Ivanovic, who admits her emotions often get the better of her, said the Swiss master could teach her a lot about coping with the pressure of life at the top.
"I would love also to have opportunity to spend more time talking to him, because I think there is so many things I can learn from him, from his experience," she said.

"He's been in all positions you can imagine on a court, dealing with so much pressure, being in the position of No 1 for so long. It would be great to have the opportunity actually to speak with him a little bit more."
The 21-year-old said she had already taken some advice from Federer to heart.
"One year at the US Open I spoke to him," she recalled, "He said that you just basically have to enjoy it and try not to think too much.
"I used to stress a lot about traveling so much and using so much time in traffic. He said 'you can't change that, you just have to accept it'.
"That's what people have been telling me anyway but when you hear it from someone like him, it gets stuck and means much more."
