Rooney's hooker discharged from hospital after suicide attempt

Footballer Wayne Rooney's hooker Jenny Thompson has discharged herself from hospital to recover at home after a suicide attempt.

A friend had found the 1,200 pounds-a-night vice girl, unconscious at her home in Bolton, Lancs, with an empty bottle of Valium near her.

"The hospital put her on a drip and for a while it didn't look good. But she is ok now," the Mirror quoted pal Abi Mills, who found her, as saying.

Another friend said that Thompson, 22, who was depressed following the revelations of her three-in a-bed romp with the Man United player last November, was penniless.
