Rain might play spoilsport at Kochi

Sunday's One-Day International match between India and Australia here faces a sticky wicket as heavy downpour forced the Australian team to cancel their yesterday's morning practice session.

Even as super-soapers were working over-time to drain out the water, a portion the outfield was still clogged and soggy.

According to the Kerala Cricket Association, the plan was to do the final rolling of the outfield to make the ground ready but now it might happen only Saturday morning.
