England off-spinner Monty Panesar was arrested by British police and questioned after an alleged public argument with his pharmacist wife, Gursharan Rattan in January.
According to The Daily Mail, Bedfordshire police arrested Panesar after a call from a concerned passerby who claimed to have seen him rowing with Gursharan in the car park of a Luton pub.
"On January 22 a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of common assault at a house in Hancock Drive in Luton," a spokesman for Bedfordshire police said.
"He was interviewed by officers at Luton Police Station before being released without charge. No further action was taken," he added.
