Chasing a target of 399, Punjab were reduced to 108 for four at stumps on Day Three with Yuvraj Singh and Uday Kaul batting on 19 and 0 respectively. Punjab now need 291 runs on the last day to win with six wickets in hand.

Earlier, resuming the day on 35-0, Mumbai scored 271 in 64.4 overs. Suryakumar Yadav, with his quickfire 61-ball 62, was the highest run-scorer for Mumbai in the second innings. The 23-year-old struck nine boundaries in his 77-minute stay.
Pacer Javed Khan smashed a handy 30-ball-44. Javed and Dabholkar added 45 runs for the last wicket to help Mumbai set a target close to 400. Javed struck three sixes and three fours.
Left-arm spinner Rajwinder Singh took 5-102 for Punjab while skipper Harbhajan Singh finished with figures of 4-67. Harbhajan, with 17 wickets from two matches, is the highest wicket-taker in the tournament, followed by Dabholkar with 13 scalps.
