Cop gets the best viewWith the electronic media contingent blocking the sight screen to get visuals of Sachin Tendulkar batting in the nets on his 20th anniversary in international cricket, it was a hindrance to the master batsman and his colleagues.
The batsmen were getting disturbed a lot and finally they asked the security guards to vacate the area behind the bowler's arms in the practice arena.
However, even the policemen were keen to watch Tendulkar bat and one of them adopted an innovative method to catch the action. He peeped out from a hole in the sight screen and watched the master unleash some of his trademark strokes from one of the best possible angles.
Sree plays good Samaritan
S Sreesanth, the Mr Notorious of Indian cricket, showed his helpful nature as the team trained at the Motera stadium yesterday. When a fierce Mahendra Singh Dhoni hit thumped into the ankle of a policeman, Sreesanth was quick to advice the cop to put ice on the injured ankle.
Going a step forward, Sreesanth quickly grabbed an ice pack and helped the limping policeman rub it on the ankle without any delay.
