India played their 742nd One-day International (ODI) match during their seven-wicket win over Sri Lanka here Sunday. India surpassed Australia's tally of 741 ODIs and now have the rare distinction of playing the most number of ODIs.
Other statistics:
Angelo Matthews (75) has recorded a career-best innings - his fourth fifty.
Matthews has posted one fifty each against New Zealand, England, India and Zimbabwe.
