The Vijay Merchant Single Wicket Cricket Competition is being revived by PJ Hindu Gymkhana after a gap of 24 years.

Mohammad Kaif is the marquee player this time. The tournament which was started in 1972 ran till 1990 and saw legends such as Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar, Vivian Richards, Malcolm Marshal and Sachin Tendulkar in action.
