Martino was unveiled Friday after agreeing to a two year contract with the reigning BBVA Primera Liga champions, to replace Tito Vilanova, who was forced to step down a week ago in order to continue his fight against cancer, reports Xinhua.
One of the first things he insisted on at his presentation was that he was not going to alter the Barcelona style of passing football, which has won the club so many titles over the years.
"I am coming to continue an idea, that is why they have brought us here," said Martino. "The first thing that I have to do is maintain the players' hunger to keep on winning."u00a0
