Bolton defender Gary Cahill is due to undergo a medical examination at Chelsea later on Saturday after reaching agreement with the London club over his personal terms, several British media outlets reported.
The 26-year-old centre-back's move to Stamford Bridge had been expected after the Premier League clubs agreed a ufffd7 million ($10.7m) transfer fee two weeks ago.
Meanwhile, QPR agreed a fee with Chelsea to take defender Alex to Loftus Road, according to reports. They must now convince the 29-year-old to become Mark Hughes' first signing as manager.
