Ashwin's wife turns up at Eden Gardens

It was a special moment for Chennai girl Preethi, who got married to R Ashwin, to see her husband claim his first wicket after marriage at the Eden yesterday.

Ashwin's success triggered celebrations in the galleries, but Preethi was cool. When asked for a reaction, Preethi said: "Not now, I will talk to you later."

"We arranged her seat in a corporate box. But she wanted to soak in the atmosphere," a CAB official said
