England pace bowler James Anderson could miss the first two Ashes Tests against Australia this winter due to injury, according to a report Friday.
According to The Daily Mirror Anderson broke ribs during a recent England training camp in Germany, sustaining the injury while boxing.
The report said the injury will take two months to heal, meaning Anderson could miss the opening two games in Brisbane and Adelaide. The Ashes series begins on November 25.
The English Cricket Board (ECB) has so far failed to comment.
