Despite resident objections, Australia's biggest brothel is a step closer to reality after it is tipped to get the Sydney council's nod on Monday night
If the City of Sydney approves the extension proposal, the 12-million-dollars Stiletto brothel in Camperdown will have 40 beds and 21 waiting rooms.
However, the owners will have to spend an additional 400,000 dollars to improve the quality of the neighbourhood, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.
Council planning director Graham Jahn said that the council had received 80 submissions against the plan.

The complaints included claims that the Parramatta Road site near the Sydney University was inappropriate because it was next to high-density residential, educational and medical establishments, and would be a safety risk to women, students and children.
The council has rebutted all the objections, and also disputed claims that the brothel would cause excess noise and disturb neighbours. It said there was ''no record of complaint relating to the existing operations of the premise'' which runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
