Assange has been holed up at London's Ecuador embassy since June 19 after going there to avoid extradition to Sweden, where he faces allegations of rape and sexual assault.
He fears that if he is extradited to Sweden, he will be sent to the US to face interrogation over the work published by his whistle-blowing website.
