Visiting Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) chief Leon Panetta met Home Minister P Chidambaram here on Saturday and discussed the security arrangements foru00a0US President Barack Obama's upcoming visit and the situation in Afghanistan.
Obama is scheduled to visit India in November. US Ambassador Timothy J Roemer accompanied Panetta when he called on Chidambaram at his North Block office.
From the Indian side, Research and Analysis Wing chief KC Verma attended the discussions.
