They met in a nursing home three years ago where both expected to quietly enjoy their twilight years, News.com.au reported.
Neither had ever been married and never expected such a lovely twist like this. Now they are inseparable.

They're the kind of sweethearts who exchange glances and cheeky pecks like teenagers on a train.
"We just sort of melted into each other," Hemmerde said. "We get along like old friends, the age gap doesn't seem to matter."
The relationship was the cherry on top for the former librarian who, at 96, decided to take her first overseas trip and became the oldest person to ever kiss the Blarney Stone in Ireland.u00a0
