Punjab Police busted a Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror module after it arrested in Amritsar two persons, who are residents of Jammu and Kashmir.
In a joint operation the Special Operations Cell (SSOC) of Punjab Police with a central agency, busted the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror module handled by Firdaus Ahmed Bhat, an active member of the LeT.
The police seized two improvised explosive devices (IEDs), two hand grenades, one pistol with two magazines, 24 cartridges, one timer switch, eight detonators, and four batteries from the module.
"In a major breakthrough, SSOC-Amritsar in a joint operation with the Central agency busted a LeT module and arrested 2 persons who are residents of J&K Seizure: 2 IEDs, 2 Hand Grenades, 1 pistol with 2 Magazines, 24 cartridges, 1 Timer Switch, 8 Detonators & 4 Batteries. The terror module was handled by Firdaus Ahmed Bhat, an active member of the Lashkar-e-Toiba. Major blow to terror module attempting to disturb peace in Punjab, " DGP, Punjab Police tweeted on Satruday on the social media app X.
